Take time to reflect
and unwind with a creative expression method known as Touch Drawing, which is used by artists, therapists,
educators, health care practitioners, and anyone wishing to experience an
intuitive, restorative art process.

Technically
known as monotype, Touch Drawing involves using a brayer to roll water-mixable oil paint
across a surface, floating a sheet of
tissue paper on top of the paint, and moving the hands on the paper in response
to the thoughts and feelings of the moment.

Expect to
take home a series of 20+ drawings. No art training or
artistic confidence needed.

Note that while the paints we will use are water
mixable and water soluble, colors may not wash out of clothing. Please bring an
old shirt or an apron to protect your clothes. Note also that these paints have a faint odor of
linseed oil.For more information about Touch Drawing please see: www.touchdrawing.com
