Program Description

Event Details

United Plant Savers is a local non-profit organization dedicated to the conservation of native medicinal plants, fungi, and their habitats while ensuring renewable populations for use by generations to come. We are based out of Rutland Ohio, where our Botanical Sanctuary and Welcome Center are located.

Join United Plant Savers to learn to identify native medicinal plants that may be growing in your backyard! We will take a look at a range of plants and their medicinal values, key identification methods, and information on how to grow them yourself. We will also discuss our favorite field guides and resources for identifying species on your own. To end, we will take a quick dive into the United Plant Savers organization, our programs, and what we do. We are excited to share these resources with our community and hope to see you there!
