Join two Ohio poets as they performoriginal work intertwined with music, visual art, riddles, and
audience participation. As the days get shorter and shorter,
experience poetry in a new light!Part of the official book tour for Hermsen's newest collection A House for Last Year's Summer from Bottom Dog Press.About the poets:Terry Hermsen taught in Ohio's Writers
in the Schools program through the Ohio Arts Council from 1979 –
2003, visiting schools, prisons, and senior centers, and leading
poetry hikes in state and national parks. He now teaches at Otterbein
University. He is the author of several celebrated poetry
collections, a book on teaching poetry, and has translated poetry. He
is a father of three, a grandfather of two, a bicyclist, gardener and
viewer of stars. His appearance is part of the official book tour for
his new collection, A House for Last Year's Summer (Bottom Dog
Press).
Becca J.R. Lachman lives in Athens,
Ohio with her husband Michael and works for her county's public
library system. She is the editor of the anthology A Ritual to
Read Together: Poems in Conversation with William Stafford and
author of two published poetry collections, and holds an MFA from
Bennington College. 2018 will take her to Fresno and Berkeley, CA as
a guest poetry lecturer.
