Found in a Book : An Exhibit from Alden Library

On display on the Circulation Area Wall from January 3rd thru January 30th.

"Here is a collection of items that have all been left behind in returned library books. I began collecting materials in August 2018, when I started working in the Athens County Public Library system. I have since moved to Ohio University Libraries and continue to find things tucked in books every day. This collection includes everyday items such as grocery lists, business cards, and bookmarks, but also deeply personal materials like photographs, letters, and keepsakes. This offers us a glimpse into the lives of our community of library users in Athens, Ohio. Who we love, what we care about, and most of all what we use to keep our place in the books that we read!"
