Event Details
Local poet J. Allyn Rosser will read a a selection of writings, including those from her newest publication, Chronic Transience. Following that, she will lead a brief workshop, where participants will get the chance to create their own poem via a fill-in-the-blank template (think Mad Libs, but more refined).
J. Allyn Rosser’s fifth collection of poems, Chronic Transience (2025) has just appeared this fall from Unbound Edition Press. Her work has appeared in Poetry, The Atlantic, The Kenyon Review, The Paris Review, The Smithsonian Magazine, and five editions of Best American Poetry. The recipient of fellowships from the Lannan Foundation, the Guggenheim Foundation, the NEA, and the Ohio Arts Council, Jill is now Emerita Professor of English at Ohio University, where she served for many years as Editor of New Ohio Review.
