Join librarians Taryn and Jenny as we race to decipher a scrambled word-square message by a long-ago explorer that will help solve the mystery of how to reach a hidden world beneath the earth. The real challenge: they’re written in Medieval Icelandic runes! The first person to decipher their message wins a free, brand-new copy of Journey to the Center of the Earth. All participants will get to make and take home a pin-on button with their name in runes with our button-making machine.
