Many of us may be familiar withgardening and farming practices in the United States: greenhouses,
tractors, combines, other heavy machinery, and vast fields of a
single crop. However, few are aware of the farming practices on other
continents, such as Africa.

In this talk, we'll compare
agricultural practices from a highly developed nation (the United
States of America) and a less developed one (Senegal, Africa).

Our guest speaker is Charlene Hopkins,
an Ohio University graduate student in ecology and evolutionary
biology.
