This combination of schizophrenia and a mood disorder is a particularly mean
affliction. Many sufferers have anosognosia – the sincere delusion that
they are not sick. Our
guest speaker Katie Feick lives with this disorder and once tried to
cut her life short. Now in solid recovery, she is a mental health
advocate with NAMI Franklin County, NAMI Ohio, ADAMH Franklin County,
Mental Health America Franklin County, and the Columbus Police Crisis
Intervention Team training. She’ll be sharing about her experience
