Program Description

Event Details

Sayre Flannagan is a wildlife biologist and instructor at the University of Rio Grande and Hocking College.  She also worked as a field biologist for many years, studying threatened and endangered species.  She was lucky enough to score a job at the Ohio State University's bat lab while in college, where she got to work firsthand with Big Brown Bats (Eptesicus fuscus).  This presentation will provide general knowledge and fun facts about how cool bats are, how bats are doing in our current world, as well as some tips for landowners on how to increase bat populations on their property.
