Acclaimed novelist, memoirist, and local John Thorndike joins us to read from his new book, A Hundred Fires in Cuba. This historical novel centers around a real-life figure from the Cuban
Revolution, Camilo Cienfuegos, and a fictional character named Clare
Miller, inspired by Thorndike's mother. We'll also learn about both
characters' biographies, as well as the surprising creative process that
