Peruse a showcase of authentic artifacts and original images featuring aspects of the widespread and mainstream uses of cannabis as a valuable medicine.

The Cannabis Museum is a 501c3 non-profit organization located in Southeast Ohio that preserves the hidden history of our ancestral use of cannabis for food, fiber, and medicine, and supports its work through the sales of photography and exhibit design.

The Museum was founded by industrial hemp and medical cannabis pioneer Don E Wirtshafter in 2018, the result of Wirtshafter’s dedication to cannabis artifact collection for over 40 years.

Exhibit reception: Tuesday, August 16th, 6-7pm, with a presentation by Don E Wirtshafter to follow in the large meeting room. Refreshments courtesy of the Friends of the Athens Public Library.
