Week Calendar

Come each Friday to hang out with fellow homeschool friends and to join in on librarian-led, interactive activities for grade-school kids and teens. 

Kids will paint bright and colorful spring flowers on canvas while learning simple painting techniques such as using brushes, mixing colors, and creating shapes. 

Spend Tuesday afternoons playing this popular fantasy, tabletop role-playing game. You do NOT have to be an experienced player -- everyone is welcome.

Join bicycle enthusiasts from the Athens Bicycle Club, The Athens Health Department, and Franklinton Cycle Works, who will bring tools, parts, and supplies to help repair and tune up bicycles. They may even have a few bikes to give away! 

Put your creativity, speed, and teamwork to the test in the Great Chauncey Scavenger Hunt.

Special guests include Tri-County Culinary Arts student grill masters, DJ B Funk, and the Bookmobile crew. Games, prizes, contests, face painting and more in the library's outdoor stage area. Join us to celebrate the start of summer!
