Week Calendar

An early childhood music program for children 5 and under.  Bring your little ones and the whole family for fun and spend music time together!  This program will take place on the first and third Saturday of every month. 

Join us for a weekly baby & toddler storytime!

We'll build skills and socialize while we read books, rhyme rhymes, move our bodies, and sing songs.

Come play with us!

We'll explore books, play games, sing songs, and enjoy each other's company in this open-ended playtime. Older siblings are welcome to follow along.

Join us as Bobby Hunt leads us through chair yoga exercises.

Revisit your childhood, and make lovely pictures of nature using this time-tested method while enjoying a relaxing atmosphere and good company.

You're suddenly struck to the bone in a moment of breathless delight. You leap from your chair, adrenaline coursing through your veins. "BINGO!" you shout.

Spooky stories, fun games, and light refreshments. 

Costumes encouraged!

*Some storytimes will also include special themes or guests. 

On the last Thursday of every month, meet other players, trade cards (we have plenty to share!), and enjoy themed games and crafts hosted by librarian Rachel. 

All supplies provided.

Each week, a group of Ohio University students will bring a favorite snack as well as a craft, game, or activity from their own childhoods to share with Chauncey kids.

It's Halloween night. There's a chill in the air and the veil between worlds has grown thinner. But you're not spooked; you're hopped up on way too much candy and eager to show everyone that you've got the best costume in town.
