Join us every Wednesday for an interactive storytime for babies, toddlers, preschoolers, and grade school children.

Weekly activities include themed sensory bins, crafts, reading, games, and more.

Build your own eye-catching world at this construction extravaganza hosted by ACPL librarians. Create freely to your heart’s content, or take inspiration from one of our special challenges. *Leave your LEGOS at home; we have plenty!

Explore the "magic" of magnetism with Librarian Andrea, and create tiny magnetic dancers in Session #1, then make abstract art employing pendulums and magnets in Session #2 . Join one or both programs!  *Ages 10 and up. 

Using a STEAM-based approach, we’ll create, test, explore, and connect with some all-time favorite books.

Join us for summer fun, playful activities, and stories, then stay and play with friends.

Families with preschoolers and school-age kids are welcome.

Is your child a budding Picasso or Khalo? Make a mess-proof family heirloom with your little one using acrylic paint on canvas. Children ages 6 and under are welcome to join Librarians Rachel and Ellie in their studio.

Musician Megan Bee will introduce stringed instruments and lead sing-alongs in this hour-long intro to music. Get a hands-on taste of melody and rhythm by singing, clapping, and playing egg shakers to a variety of genres.

Head to the library for an after-hours afternoon to dye a bandana (provided) or one item from home with library staff.

Turtles and snakes and owls, oh my! These creatures will join Site Manager Jess Hughes and student employees of the Hocking College Nature Center to demonstrate how their camouflage works to keep them safe in the wild.
