NCBC is a weekly book club designed to include developmentally disabled adults. We read books together, discuss them, and then celebrate with a party! 

Join Librarian Jessica in making mini pumpkin garland out of felt. Sewing experience recommended, but not required.

In person at the Wells (Albany) Library!

Join us from 1-3 pm on Tuesdays for handwork and pleasant conversation. Bring a project to work on: embroidery, knitting, crochet, quilting, mending - whatever you like to do!

Celebrate Fall! As part of the Albany Fall Festival, we will have pumpkin painting for people of all ages at the library.

Drop in at the Wells Library in Albany from 1-2pm and paint a small pumpkin to take home.

Make a beautiful brooch of roses to wear on your jacket as the days get chilly. No special sewing or jewelry making skills are needed. Just a bit of glue and snips along a pattern will yield an easy, rolled felt rose.

Students in Composition are guided in the creation of original dances using play and creativity. Students learn all about the creative process, from cultivating and developing movement ideas to finding music and creating costumes.

Experienced local artist Danette Pratt will take participants through the process of creating a beautiful, realistic and poetically evocative painting of a Musquee de Provence heirloom varietal pumpkin, either green or orange--your choice

Meet every week to practice your Spanish in a friendly community setting! Native speakers and those interested in improving their language skills are equally welcome. Free and open to the public.
