NCBC is a weekly book club designed to include developmentally disabled adults. We read books together, discuss them, and then celebrate with a party! 

Visit the library for a warm bowl of soup and a special visit from the Friendship Bench for holiday gift wrapping! Pop in and sit with others on the main floor to warm up from the December cold.

Meet every week to practice your Spanish in a friendly community setting! Native speakers and those interested in improving their language skills are equally welcome. Free and open to the public.

Ernest Hemingway famously said that The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn by Mark Twain planted the seed of modern literature.

Liven up your Christmas tree with a sparkly, colorful ornament using Diamond Dots.  Create your own masterpiece to either hang on your tree or to give as a gift.  All supplies will be provided.

Ring in the holidays with a collection of traditional carols ranging from the 16th century to the present day.

Adults who enjoy writing poetry are invited to share their work and comment on the work others.

In person at the Wells (Albany) Library!

Join us from 1-3 pm on Tuesdays for handwork and pleasant conversation. Bring a project to work on: embroidery, knitting, crochet, quilting, mending - whatever you like to do!

An opportunity to meet in person our month's exhibitors and talk with them about their exhibited items.

Munchies will be provided but feel free to bring your favorite treat.

Join us for an informal musical get-together every 3rd Tuesday from 6-8pm.

You're invited to listen or play, no matter your skill level; beginners are encouraged to learn from experienced players in the first half hour.
