Our second program in the Spice Story series looks at the culinary uses and health benefits of tumeric. Your kit will include recipies and ingredients to make Tumeric and Cinnamon Masala Chai. This recipe is from the Cancer- Fighting Kitchen by Rebecca Katz. She comments on here recipe here, "Masala is Indian for a spice blend, most notably those used in teas (aka chai). This incredibly comforting libation heals both body and mind; the spices, notably tumeric and cinnamon, have outstanding anti-inflammatory properties."
