Be the first on the block to celebrate Independence Day and America’s 250th year. Librarian Lisa will kick off the festivities by teaching attendees how to make their own wood block replica of an Uncle Sam hat.

Participants will choose a gemstone-shaped suncatcher and use vibrant, translucent paints to create a one-of-a-kind design.

Explore turtles from dinosaur times to today. Join PBS KIDS and the WOUB Learning Lab to discover cool facts, explore the high-tech Tortuga, and build solutions to help these living fossils survive today’s challenges.
