Join us for an afternoon of Pokémon fun! Whether you're a seasoned Trainer or just starting your journey, our Pokémon Trading & Crafts is the perfect place to meet friends, trade cards, and get creative.

Drop your favorite stuffed animal off at the library any time between 10 and 6, and tell the librarian all about them! Together we will read your stuffed animal a story and tuck them in.

Join us every Wednesday for an interactive storytime for babies, toddlers, preschoolers, and grade school children.

Weekly activities include themed sensory bins, crafts, reading, games, and more. 

Experience the joys of English, Spanish, and Spanglish through stories, songs, and activities.

Join us for a cozy visit from the Hocking College Nature Center. We'll look at furs and skulls to learn all about how animals deal with winter time. We'll even meet a special box turtle guest!

Get into the winter spirit with our DIY Snow Globe Workshop! In this hands-on session, teens and kids will design and craft their own snow globes using jars, figurines, glitter, and creativity.

Arlo the dog is extremely handsome and a great listener. He LOVES it when kids read him stories. Arlo is a certified Reading Education Assistance Dog, a HOPE crisis canine, and a proud member of the Alliance of Therapy Dogs.

What's better on a winter afternoon than grabbing a snack and working on a puzzle with friends? Join us as we lay out several puzzles in different sizes around the library. Munchies provided, but feel free to bring some more to share.

On the last Thursday of every month, meet other players, trade cards (we have plenty to share!), and enjoy themed games and crafts hosted by librarian Rachel.

¡Hola! Join student volunteers from Ohio University's Spanish Department in discovering the fun of learning about Spanish language and culture through arts and crafts, music, stories, games and more.

Our ongoing program series Kids' Craft Corner aims to help kids of all ages express themselves through a variety of organized crafts. Some of our crafts do get a bit messy, but not to worry, we will supply aprons to protect clothing.
