Purpose of Meeting
After recently returning from a six week journey through the so called “southern cone” of South America, Dr. Jonathan Maffay will be sharing his experiences through stories, photo images, and music from that fascinating region. The journey begins in cosmopolitan Buenos Aires, Argentina before heading southward to Patagonia and Ushuaia, Tierra Del Fuego, the last stop before Antarctica. From there it’s back northwards, through the Chilean side of Patagonia, with visits to Torre de Payne, often called the most beautiful national park in the world, and then on to the country’s famous Lake District.
