Water Rockets to the Moon

Cometo build and launch a water rocket to the moon – or at least into
the troposphere! Using two and one liter pop bottles, we will build
moon rockets with fins and a nose cone to launch at a distant moon.
Force will be provided by compressed air and our liquid propellant
will be H₂O. Getting wet will be optional but encouraged. Bring
your own pop bottles or use one of ours.This event takes place in the Library Backyard.  Limit 10 participants. Recommended for upper elementary and middle school ages. Registration begins Saturday, September 22nd.
