Emerging Athens Art Guild photographer, Vicky Mattson, has been developing her love of birds and photography for about 6 years. Her interest in birds started when she was living out West with Golden Eagles, Bald Eagles and Red Tail Hawks. When she moved to Athens her bird interests continued to grow especially during the spring migration. Photos she has taken of birds are on display on the main floor of the Nelsonville library. As you check out her photos, you're encouraged to scan the QR codes associated with each bird; they will take you to a website where you can learn more about each bird and hear their unique songs.
