Seed Swap with Community Food Initiatives

Purpose of Meeting

In celebration of National Seed Swap Day, Community Food Initiatives is hosting seed swaps throughout Athens County.

The first scheduled seed swap is Saturday January 27 from 12:30pm-2:00 pm in the small meeting room at the Athens County Public Libraries Athens public library branch.

Gardeners are invited to drop by to swap seeds and meet up with other gardeners. CFI will also have seeds on-hand along with information on how to become a volunteer plant parent (for CFI’s May plant start giveaway) and how to sign up for a community garden plot.

CFI will also host seed swaps at Village Productions in Amesville on February 3, 1:30 pm -3:30 pm and the Nelsonville Public Library on February 24 11:00 am-1:00 pm.
