In this one hour session, kids and teens will have an opportunity to participate in Q & A regarding personal safety and their rights to be "safe, strong and free." Topics will include awareness, stranger or known person responses, trusted adults and immediate resistance.
Cheryl Cesta is an Empowerment Self Defense instructor and former survivor advocate, clinical counselor and faculty member in the College of Public Safety at Hocking College. She is certified with the National Women's Martial Arts Federation and has provided personal safety training to many children and adults in the Athens community.
