Purpose of Meeting

Reader advisory! From board books to newspaper articles to films about adoption, your recommendations are welcome. We'll also have some books for all ages pulled from the library system's collection.

For those of us who have dipped into Telling the Truth to Your Adopted or Foster Child: Making Sense of the Past, we can also share our thoughts and personal experiences. 

This will be a laid-back conversation with light snacks provided. Our group aims to support all types of adoptive families and is run by local adoptive parents and Athens County Children Services.
