Program Description

Event Details

Cap off An Athens Autumn by joining ACPL at the Ohio University Observatory, located on top of The Ridges! Weather permitting, astronomers at OU will open up their telescope, giving us a one of a kind look at not only the mountains and craters of the Harvest Moon, but also at Saturn and Jupiter! The crown jewels of late autumn, these planets should be highly visible at this time of year. Furthermore, we'll have an opportunity to meet representatives from OU's astronomy program, and learn about the events and services they provide throughout the year.

The most up-to-date parking information for telescope nights at The Ridges can be found here.
