HILL SPIRITS are an energetic folk quintet based in Athens, Ohio. These five sons from Ohio have a firm belief in embracing where they are from, providing a voice for the region, and singing of the past for today's generations. Known for their passionate live energy and wholesale love for lifting their voices in song together on a stampede of banjo, fiddle, upright bass, guitar, and foot-stomping percussion, they bridge the gap between old world and contemporary folk styles.
